Come get into an island state of mind, and feel great helping our area educators and kids have access to amazing learning opportunities!  Can you imagine being a young choir student and getting to meet and perform with a national A Capella act or hear a personal history of a Japanese American Internment. We wish every supporter could experience the energy and joy that fills the theater when 1200 students are seeing Opera for the first time. Every year Four Rivers Cultural Center is programming these dynamic learning opportunities and sharing them FOR FREE with schools.  Studies show that kids who have access to dynamic learning experiences score higher in verbal and math testing, they display leadership traits, and are more compassion!

This is actually a “Fun”  fundraiser so bust out your flip-flops and get ready to dance the night away to island rhythms performed by Joy Ride. Hikaru Mizu Japanese Garden at Four Rivers Cultural Center will be transformed into an island oasis for all you Parrot Heads. The evening includes a live auction and fun games with prizes.

Proceeds from your ticket purchase and the live auction support ongoing art, education, and historical opportunities provided FREE to area youth and educators.

Your ticket purchase includes:

    • Entrance to the Event
    • Island Dinner
    • Fran Halcom’s Famous Coconut Macaroons
    • Lei
    • A “feel good” feeling for supporting our kids!

“As I sat and watched this marvelous performance I saw hundreds of children engaged and enchanted by this wonderful program.  For myself, I was emotionally uplifted and captured by the story and beautiful music.  With much gratitude to you all” – Steve Belknap 1st grade teacher, Maxine Johnson Elementary School, Parma Idaho
