The Chinook Winds, out of Montana, are the resident wind quintet of the Great Falls Symphony.  The quintet travels hundreds of miles each year performing in a variety of communities across the Northwest.  Their dynamic programs include classic wind quintet literature, new works featuring composers and artists from the region, unique arrangements of popular songs, and a captivating sense of energy that keeps audiences riveted.   Playing Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet and French Horn, they astound with their music and performance.

Members of Chinook Winds are the Great Falls Symphony’s “core musicians”. Each member comes to Great Falls with a story. None of them grew up here; all come from different parts of the country with different backgrounds and experiences, each with advanced degrees in performance on their instruments.

“The Chinook Winds are all virtuoso performers, yet can relate to audiences of all ages and musical abilities. They are personable and professional!  I recommend the Chinook winds with enthusiasm!”
