Exhibit to celebrate local kid art & its impact on developing minds

Ontario — Arts impact on the mind of a developing child is the focus of the upcoming exhibit at Four Rivers Cultural Center. “Early Childhood Learning Art Exhibit” is a collection of vibrant artwork from local children and will premiere with a free gallery opening on April 5, 5 to 7 p.m., in the Harano Art Gallery.

With an aim to provide a visual kaleidoscope into the world of early childhood learning, the exhibit highlights the long-term impacts of creative environments on the minds of children and the group of child care providers who nourish these early learning experiences.

This celebration of children’s art is presented by Focused Child Care Network, a group of Family Child Care Providers, all of whom are located throughout three Eastern Oregon counties, Malheur, Baker, and Wallowa.

The exhibit also honors Week of the Young Child (April 8-12), Month of the Military Child, and Day of the Child (April 30).

All artwork will remain in the gallery until May 20. Refreshments and snacks will be provided during the free opening.

The Cultural Center is located at 676 SW 5th Ave., Ontario, OR.
