Recently moved to new Ontario location on 2nd Avenue, they will talk about their operation, volunteer and engagement opportunities and tell the stories of the dogs featured.
There will be activities for the whole family. We will start the day off with a group yoga session lead by Megan Brown-Cook from our local Balance Studio. Treasure Valley Rocks will have a free rock painting station set up. Warren Osborne with Ozzy’s LLC will give a dog training demonstration with his 4H group. For a donation of $5 or more you can reserve a canvas and participate in a paint a shelter dog challenge.
There will be photos and bios displayed of all the dogs in the shelter (only some of the dogs will be at the event and we want to show all of the dogs Amanda and Brian from Ani-care will share information about their shelter and then introduce each dog as the TVCC Women’s Basketball team walks them in the Ani-care dog show. Our local Ordinance Officer Dallas Brocket works closely with the shelter and will share information and tips on keeping your dog safe. Dirty Dog wash will be on hand to talk to you about your dog grooming questions.
