Tradition Keepers Presentation

November 6
2PM-4PM & 7PM-9PM

Here at the Four Rivers Cultural Center, we believe that when we honor our traditions we create a more vibrant community together. That’s why we are happy to announce that Tradition Keepers Folklife Festival will be returning this year on November 6th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Over the past few months, we have been releasing traditions virtually through our Facebook page, giving you and your family access to the incredible range of traditional arts and culture living right here in the Four Rivers Region.

This Fall we will be bringing our virtual festival to a theater near you

Join us in the Meyer McLean Theater for a presentation of some of our favorite Tradition Keepers.

About the Event:

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. we will be showing

  • Taiko Drumming

Families can enjoy traditional crafts, joining in on unique cultural activities! Don’t just watch the Taiko drummers become one for the afternoon, or take a moment to learn how to craft your own cowboy boots!

  • Live: Cowboy Poetry Performance Featuring Randi Johnson
  • Sudanese Henna
