What’s a life without wonder? Here at the Four Rivers Cultural Center our mission is to provide enriching experiences for our community– experiences we hope fill you with wonder! That’s why, every other week, beginning on February 8th, the Cultural Center will be releasing its first ever 4-week unboxing subscription series. At the beginning of each week the Cultural Center will be distributing free Wonder Boxes (imagine a subscription box but at no cost). Each box will be themed and packed with fun and new experiences for youth, teens and adults to enjoy throughout the week! Unpack wonder, at your own pace, while in the comfort and safety of your own home.
Our first week, “A Historical Escape,” engages participants in history, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Join us as we celebrate Oregon’s birthday (162 years old this year!) by baking a cake! Sit down with the family and enjoy a game night with a Trivia Board found in the Cultural Center’s own collections, and walk down memory lane with us as we see Ontario as it was and still is. This box is for history seekers of all ages. Not only will participants engage in hands-on and entertaining activities built for families to smile, laugh and spend time with one another– but they will also learn a thing or two about the area they call home!

How to Participate:
- Register online at our website by filling out the registration form and indicate that you would like to receive a Wonder Box.
- One box per household as supplies are limited
- Pick up your box on February 8th between 4:30-5:30 pm at the Four Rivers Cultural Center, it will be waiting for you!
- When you arrive please pull up to the curb and give your name, a staff member will hand you your Wonder Box.
- Please observe COVID safety measures and wear your masks when you arrive, this allows us to keep providing programming for our community!
