Pattie Young- Garden Sculpture Exhibit
Stroll through Hikaru Mizu during your free hour to catch a glimpse of Young’s outdoor art installation of sculptures dispersed throughout the 1.3 acre landscape. This FREE experience offers an escape from everyday life with an artistic touch and is available for viewing starting June 1st until July 31st during business hours. Don’t miss this chance to visit our first-ever outdoor sculpture exhibit.
FREE Entry into the Museum
At Four Rivers Cultural Center, we believe in the transforming power of story, and it’s why we want to make our museum more accessible to families in the summer. All summer long we’re offering FREE entry for every first Friday of the month from June to August. Have a group? We offer age-targeted scavenger hunts at no extra cost for an engaging experience.
Feel Good Film Fridays
Kick your feet up on a Friday evening while you enjoy a free film screening inside the museum theatre. Each movie begins at 6:30 P.M. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Saturday Summer Showtimes
These free family-friendly films will brighten up your Saturday with the kids. Playing inside our spacious 535-seated Meyer-McLean Theatre, there’s plenty of room for the entire family & friends. Each film will start at 3 P.M. on its designated day.
Summer Zumba
We’re a culture-focused organization because we’re strong believers that arts, music, dance, language & customs from around the world and region are what makes us more vibrant. We also believe in access for everyone, especially when it comes to our health. That’s why we love Zumba! This 1-hour class is infused with so many cultural influences with dances, like, salsa, merengue, cumbia, hip hop, reggaeton, belly dancing, and Bollywood! Get moving on Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Summer classes begin the first week of June through July 31st.
Live After 5 in the Garden
All about good food, live music, and great company, we’re excited to announce Live After Five is kicking off in June inside the Hikaru Mizu Japanese garden. Every concert is FREE and delicious drinks and food from locally-loved restaurants are available for purchase. If you’re a member, your first drink is on us! 5 o’Clock Somewhere in Paradise
This is the biggest night for your island & tropical attire, but most importantly, for FRCC’s youth-focused programming. On July 12, let us whisk you away to the grooviest island getaway within the sage desert region, where we’ll have appetizing food, the coolest beverages in town, dance-invoking music, and an unforgettable auction. All proceeds from this luau-inspired night go towards serving over 18,000 youth with transforming art, historical, and cultural experiences at no cost to parents or educators. Attendees like you, let children explore their own stories so that any child, regardless of income, get to see opera, trained vocalists, theatre performances, and more. FRCC believes that through these learning opportunities we as a community expand and inspire the horizons of our youth for a better future
Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds
Described as a “rhythmic wheelhouse” with “big-city grit and down-home sweetness with a little Americana twang” Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds are coming to Ontario straight from Brooklyn, NY. This powerhouse band will rock out inside the Meyer McLean Performing Arts Theatre on June 21, making the first day of summer a memorable one. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are now available online and inside the FRCC gift shop, $10.
Saddles & Sonnets Exhibit
Let the panel boards take you to the cowboys and cowgirls of the area with stories of buckaroo country, bootmaking, music, and poetry, during this FREE exhibit.
Tradition Keepers Folklife Festival
The Tradition Keepers Folklife Festival is a day-long event celebrating the diverse range of traditional arts and culture in the Four Rivers area. Come experience the incredible skills of our community members and learn about their traditional arts including cowboy poetry, silversmithing, rawhide braiding, Paiute basketry and cradleboard making, Paiute pow wow dancing, Japanese taiko drumming, traditional Japanese mochi making, and much more, including a visit form National Heritage Fellow Eva Castellanoz.

Snow White & the Seven Drawfs
There is an incredible group of children who will perform Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs after spending only 1-week to nail it during the Missoula Children’s Theatre Camp. This annual traveling-theatre-camp shares our vision of bringing theatre opportunities to our rural communities. We welcome you to celebrate our camp-youths’ talent during their 1-day show on July 13. This production will be performed twice at 3:00 & 5:30 PM. Tickets to this Disney-classic show are $5.
73rd Annual Obon Festival
Obon, or just Bon is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the spirits of one’s ancestors. It’s become a staple of a community event and celebrates it’s 73rd year. Experience Buddhist teachings, Japanese food, and other cultural staples during this free-entry event. Authentic Japanese cuisine is available for purchase.

Come autumn, we are bringing back FREE financial classes, and this time around, we’re adding an investment/retirement savings portion to the budgeting session. This FREE 3-part financial education series will tackle credit, home ownership, & budgeting for all incomes. Class dates are Thursday evenings from 6-8 PM on 9/5, 9/12, and 9/19.
