Capital Campaign Kick-Off!

Hello Friends and Supporters,

This is a critical and exciting time for Four Rivers Cultural Center. We have been growing in every way possible over the last four years. We have every intention of continuing this growth into the future. Some of the exciting things we are working on is increased youth programming. Although we have grown from around 800 participating youth just 4 years ago to over 8,000 already in 2016, we know there are more incredible opportunities to offer more access to art, music, theater and historical education. Overall the center is more viable than ever with 80,000 visitors attending annually, which is up from 41,000 in 2012. We are creating a digital library of over 80,000 images from the Estano and Harano libraries. We received a capacity grant to hire resident folklorist who will be building new programming for ancient techniques and skills. We are collaborating with many groups and non-profits around the Treasure Valley to make sure critical programs have a place to educate and enhance our community. As part of this exciting growth and change it has become increasingly apparent that we need to address some critical facilities maintenance and upgrade projects to ensure that the Four Rivers Cultural Center continues to be the heart of our community for future generations.

All of the success here have been a direct result of so many wonderful leaders and community members helping us along the way. I have grown to love our community so much and I know first-hand how important the Center is to Ontario and the surrounding communities. It is a large part of what makes us vibrant and unified. I hope that you will join me, my board of directors and community leaders who have already paved the way to nearly half way to our goal of $300,000 dollars as we celebrate the capital campaign kick-off. We are inviting the community in to launch our campaign with a party. Guest speakers Representative Cliff Bentz, Ontario Mayor Ronald Verini, Taiko Drumming, Native Dancing, Food, Beverages and fun.

I hope you will come learn about what we are doing that is exciting and how you can be a part of helping us make sure Four Rivers Cultural Center is here for another 20 years! If you plan on attending please send your R.S.V.P to development@4rcc.com.

Sincerely Matt Stringer, Executive Director, Four Rivers Cultural Center

Looking forward to seeing you!

Kindly R.S.V.P so we can best prepare for you.
