ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ENTERED IN DRAWINGS TO WIN A BELL MOTO-CROSS HELMET, LIFEJACKET, AND SAFETY KIT. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. PRIZES WERE DONATED BY EDGE PERFORMANCE SPORTS IN ONTARIO, OREGON.
Malheur County Sheriff Department and Ontario Neighborhood Watch collaborate with FRCC&M in presenting the latest and greatest safety information. Join us on the first two Tuesdays in March, and be ready for more, as we plan on continuing to help build bridges and connections within our communities. Plan on attending both evenings to see what’s new and relevant along with how to keep ourselves and each other safe. Each evening will have at least one raffle item, must be present to win.
March 5th: Learn about recreational water safety, off-road riding regulations, and general safety information from the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy officers will be ready to share skills, stories, and their favorite/most common safety practices. Attend and enter for a chance to win a life jacket!
March 12th: Your local Ontario Neighborhood Watch group along with OPD officers will share basic self-defense information and tactics. Get yourself ready to move and be open to suggestions to get the most from this opportunity. Participation encouraged, please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Attend and enter for a chance to win a water safety kit! WE WILL BE GIVING AWAY ST. PATRICKS DAY CUSTOM CRAFT KIT TO THE FIRST DOZEN KIDS THAT ATTEND.
