Portland Gay Men’s Chorus Returns to Rural Oregon for Bold New Rural Harmony Tour!
After a long pandemic pause, the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus (PGMC) is proudly returning to its tradition of rural outreach performances — The Rural Harmony Tour is bigger, bolder, and further east than ever before.
Between 60 and 80 singers from PGMC will embark on a three-town tour along the I-84 corridor, visiting Pendleton, La Grande, and Ontario in eastern Oregon. This marks PGMC’s first tour since COVID-19 halted travel and live performances, and it signals a renewed commitment to uplifting and connecting with LGBTQ+ individuals and allies across the state.
This tour is made possible through the generous support of The Roundhouse Foundation and The Ford Family Foundation, whose commitment to rural access to the arts is helping bring this music and message to eastern Oregon. Partners receive all ticket proceeds.
The Eastern Oregon tour is part of PGMC’s ongoing mission to affirm the worth of all people through music, wherever they may live.
