Every year, the Somewhere in Paradise – Garden of Dreams Luau feels like a reminder of why Four Rivers Cultural Center & Museum matters. On Friday, August 14th, we’ll gather again in Hikaru Mizu—our Japanese Garden—to celebrate community, culture, and the dreams that grow when people choose to show up for one another.

Because you already know FRCC, you know this isn’t just an event venue or a museum. We are the heart of the community—where what matters happens. It’s where milestones are celebrated, where partnerships begin, where students discover something new, and where neighbors become friends. It’s also where community needs meet community action—quietly, consistently, year after year.

The theme, Garden of Dreams, is intentional. Dreams don’t thrive without care. Your support helps ensure the dreams that start here can keep growing—whether it’s a child’s first cultural experience, an educator finding new ways to inspire students, a nonprofit gathering people around a cause, or a community member simply feeling seen and connected.

And while our impact is often measured in moments, it’s sustained by the realities behind the scenes—maintaining and operating our 85,000-square-foot facility that hosts gatherings of every kind, while also protecting what makes this place so special, including the garden that brings people back again and again.
