The Four Rivers Cultural Center is proud to host the planting of the Hiroshima Peace Tree, known in Japan as “Hibakujumoku” Survivor Tree.

The ceremony will be performed from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm during Serve Day 2022. The ceremony will include religious blessings from the Buddhist Temple and a Christian blessing by Father Jim Mosier from the Episcopal church. There will also be a song led by Jill Miller. This is a FREE event and everyone is welcome to join.

In these troubled times, a small gesture toward peace resolutions plays an important and meaningful role for our community and the world.
