Chess Tournament
Sponsored by Four Rivers Cultural Center & area Malheur County Schools

Date: Saturday. February 25, 2017

Participants: Available to students in grades 8 and below. Everyone welcome. Trophies award to top three individual places and top two team places. A team consists of two or more players from the same school.

Rounds: Each player will compete in 5 rounds using individual Swiss style pairing method (unless otherwise noted) using the ICA ISSCC Chess Tournament Rules.

Entry Fee: Preregistration- $10/player or $25/family (Preregistration must be postmarked by Feb. 18, 2017)

Onsite- $15/player or $30/family

Some scholarships available.

Schedule: Onsite registration 8:00-8:30 AM (Players arriving after 8:30 am risk not being paired in Round 1)
Preregistered players 8:30-8:45 AM Check In
Tournament announcements: 8:45 AM
Tournament start: 9:00 AM
