Through the Eyes of a Friend offers a powerful, personal window into the world of Anne Frank and other young people who lived through the Holocaust. This live, multimedia performance blends professional theatre with archival images and film to help students connect emotionally and intellectually with this pivotal moment in history.
Told from the perspective of a fictional friend of Anne Frank, the program explores themes of identity, courage, injustice, and the consequences of prejudice. Students gain a deeper understanding of the human impact of the Holocaust and are encouraged to reflect on empathy, responsibility, and the importance of standing up against hatred today.
