Here at the Four Rivers Cultural Center it is our mission to unite our community around our unique differences, and we believe that when we celebrate our cultural heritage we create connections that bring us together! That’s why on September 13th from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m we will be hosting our Mexican Independence Day Celebration, saluting one of the core heritages that make up the Four Rivers Region today!

Every year people across the globe celebrate Mexico’s Independence from Spanish rule on September 16th, the anniversary of El Grito de Delores, the cry that inspired the movement that freed Mexico from Spanish rule! Here at FRCC&M we will celebrate the holiday with FREE fun family activities, including traditional arts and crafts, food, and more!

Many organizations will be here to provide information and consult with attendees about health insurance, fair housing, education issues, immigration issues, family assistance and more!

En el Centro Cultural Cuatro Ríos, nuestra misión es unir a la comunidad en torno a nuestras diferencias únicas, y creemos que al celebrar nuestra herencia cultural creamos conexiones que nos acercan. ¡Por eso, el 13 de septiembre de 2:30 p. m. a 6:00 p. m., estaremos celebrando el Día de la Independencia de México, rindiendo homenaje a una de las herencias fundamentales que conforman la Región de los Cuatro Ríos hoy en día!

Cada año, personas en todo el mundo celebran la Independencia de México del dominio español el 16 de septiembre, aniversario de “El Grito de Dolores”, el grito que inspiró el movimiento que liberó a México de España. Aquí en el FRCC&M celebraremos la festividad con actividades familiares GRATUITAS, incluyendo artes y manualidades tradicionales, comida ¡y mucho más!

Muchas organizaciones estarán presentes para brindar información y asesoría a los asistentes sobre seguro médico, vivienda justa, temas educativos, inmigración, asistencia familiar ¡y mucho más!
