We’re excited to continue the Thrive Longer: HealthSpan Lecture Series with Dr. Sara Rodgers as she explores diabetes care from a naturopathic perspective. For this session, she’s teaming up with Lou Millikan, NBC-HWC, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and co-founder of Every Day Is A Gift Health and Wellness Coaching. Lou helps clients reverse and manage chronic conditions through behavior change rooted in lifestyle medicine, using a systems-based approach that builds sustainable habits around nutrition, sleep, stress regulation, and metabolic health — addressing the root causes of type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance. Together, Dr. Rodgers and Lou offer a powerful, whole-person approach to improving energy, restoring blood sugar balance, and creating long-term health and resilience.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Sara Rodgers, NMD, C.Ac, of Idaho Naturopathic Medicine has provided compassionate naturopathic care to patients throughout the Treasure Valley. From her Payette, Idaho office, she treats both acute and chronic conditions, with particular expertise in untangling the often-complex root causes behind long-standing health issues. Dr. Rodgers approaches every patient with the belief that healing is possible, partnering with them to identify what’s driving their illness and which interventions can support lasting wellness.
