Have you always wanted to learn how to dance, but don’t know where to start–or even which type of dance you’d love the best? Well, these classes are for you! Community Dance will be held the 4th Friday of each month from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. where we invite anyone 14+ to come and learn HOW to dance.

Anyone 14+ is welcome to attend. This is an alcohol-free event, and it is perfect for families to join and enjoy! Taught in the style of Dirt Road Dancing, this class will have you feeling confident in any setting, with or without a partner, and in the best shape of your life.

Want to dance every Friday night? Check out the Frosty Badger where you can now attend dance classes every week on Fridays. Register to attend at Frosty Badger here, https://countryswing14feb.rsvpify.com

Partners are encouraged but not required! Grab a friend and come have a blast learning some new moves. No experience necessary.

Meet Your Instructors

Jeneen Heather

Jeneen discovered Country Dancing in 2017 and found out that exercise didn’t have to be miserable! After decades of boring elliptical trainer workouts, she broke up with the gym and committed to a lifetime of dancing to stay in the best shape of her life. She has been an avid supporter and student of Dirt Road Dancing since 2017 in public and private settings.

Dave Posey

Dave has been a central figure in the Boise Country Dance community since 2018 and has competed in many regional and national dance competitions, placing in the top 3 several times. In his own words “Mostly, I’m a Grateful student. Grateful to the local Country Dance Community, several instructors and fellow students that have helped me, most notably Dirt Road Dancing.”
