Gary Fugate “Eldorado” Book Signing

Gary Fugate will be introducing his historical book, “Eldorado” at the Four Rivers Cultural Center on Saturday, July 26th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the museum lobby. This 320 page book speaks of a Mining Camp in Eastern Oregon from 1867 to 1880 and beyond. Included are 150 photograph of the residence, their history in Eldorado and follows many of them into their future. Today, many decedents of these hardy pioneers still reside in the Treasure Valley. The book is a true story of the way of the life, of both men and women, who had an entrepreneurial spirit, striking out to find their fortunes in gold fields of Oregon. Learn how the town was formed, what their challenges were, how they succeeded or failed.

Gary will be offering and signing his book, in both hard back or paper back, and will do a short presentation of his work. This is a accumulation of eight years of research, discovering the history of our Oregon pioneers. Please join us and share in his work. Refreshments will be served.
