Robert Komoto A Gallery of Landscapes

Gallery Opening on June 9, 6 – 8 PM
Exhibit will run through August 11th.

Robert Komoto had a leaning toward art, even beginning in first grade, when he remembers painting ghosts on his first-grade mural for Halloween. Robert’s mother, Midori, was always a very good artist. She would sketch Robert and his siblings when they were growing up.
He continued that class taught by Sandi Micheli until COVID stopped classes at TVCC on March 13, 2020. While coming home from that last class, he decided to keep up with painting by doing a new painting every week until class resumed. Well, this week is week 166, and he has painted 160.
The photo gallery will run through August 11 in the Harano Gallery and is FREE to the public to visit Mon. – Fri. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Light refreshments and appetizers will be served during the June 9 opening which is FREE to the public.
