Here at the Four Rivers Cultural Center we are firm believers in keeping our community healthy. That’s why beginning on Monday, September 13th until November 3rd, Yoga will be back right here at FRCC!
Join us every Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for this FREE, 8-week yoga session, taught by talented Yogi Jan Dinsmore.
About Your Yoga
This session will focus on a combination of Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Yoga. Beginners are welcome, don’t worry no one is expected to do a headstand! Simply come as you are and enjoy a class that is designed by our instructor to fit your specific needs.
Vinyasa Yoga is a great starting point for beginners! During this flow you will move with your breath from pose to pose and hold postures for short periods of time.
Hatha Yoga Hatha yoga is practiced at a slower pace, with focus on the breath, controlled movements, and stretching. You will usually hold a pose for longer periods of time.
These flows offer strength, flexibility, concentration, and most importantly will help you connect with your breath!

What You Need to Know:
- Please dress comfortably for this class, we recommend loose clothing that you can easily move around in.
- Don’t forget to bring a yoga mat! If you don’t have one, please contact us in advance so that we can set one aside for you as we have limited supplies.
- Most importantly, remember that this class is for you, designed to keep you healthy, and fit your needs. We hope to see you there!
